Pitkin County Public Health conducted a community health assessment (CHA) in the spring and summer of 2022 to understand the health of our community. This showed where we are doing well, and where we have opportunities to improve. Two areas where we have the opportunity to improve are:
1. Access to health care, including mental health
2. Climate change

As we work with community partners to develop our Public Health Improvement Plan (PHIP), we are inviting anyone who lives, works, and plays in Pitkin County to participate in two sessions to discuss strategies that we can take as a community to improve access to care and mitigate/adapt to climate change.
Please register in advance. You are welcome to join for one or both sessions. All levels of participation are welcome.
We will be offering these sessions in English and Spanish. If you prefer to participate in Spanish, please register by October 19 at 12:00 pm.
