Renewal stickers for your Colorado license plate can be done by mail or in person at the Clerk and Recorder's office or
Courtesy renewal notices are mailed out monthly reflecting

Use the renewal notice postcard (or address an envelope) and mail to:

What to Include
Include the following:
Renewal notice (this shows what vehicle the payment covers) or license plate number
Proof of insurance, if required. See "insurance" for acceptable proof
When renewing in person, it is not necessary to bring in the renewal notice.
Wait Time for New Stickers
If you mailed in your payment, your new stickers and registration will be mailed to you in approximately a week after receipt of your payment.
Didn't Receive a Courtesy Renewal Notice?
Please note that if for some reason you do not receive the courtesy renewal notice, it is still your responsibility for the timely renewal of your registration.
