The Recording Department records, indexes, and archives public documents related to real property transfers, deeds of trust, liens, plats and others transactions. We preserve many documents as permanent public records. The Recording Department also issues and records marriage and civil union licenses.

Recording and copy fees (PDF) Beginning January 1, 2017, the Recording fees for the first page of a document have increased from $11.00 to $13.00.
Search our recorded documents by utilizing our free online public search. To purchase individual document images, please click on "Save Image" or "Email Image" (images have a black watermark until purchased and downloaded to your computer) The documents are searchable as follows:
1977 to present - Documents are searchable by Reception #, Book/Page, Grantor, Grantee and some legal descriptions. 1950 to 1976 - Documents are searchable by Reception #, Book/Page, Grantor or Grantee.
1880 to 1949 - Historic Document Images - Historical images have been uploaded into our system and are searchable by Book/Page and/or Reception Number- Grantor/Grantee searches for historical documents are not yet indexed so will still need to be searched in the Research Room of our office.
Open an Online Subscription - With an online subscription, you get full time access to an unlimited number of records images 24-7, during the subscription period. For $75 weekly, or $300 monthly, you can search view, print, and download all recorded documents. First Preview the Online Subscription Agreement. To set up your account, complete and submit the Online Subscription Agreement. You will receive an email with instructions and your login information. You will then have the capability to manage your subscription online.
Open an Escrow Account for In Office Requests An escrow account allows you to put money in escrow and draw from it anytime you have a fee based transaction including IN OFFICE copies and recording fees. Our escrow agent login service on the web allows you to view your current balance and transaction history online.
To open an escrow account:

Complete the Escrow Account Registration (PDF) form and deliver to our office with your check.

There is no minimum dollar amount to set up an escrow account.
