About the Board
To make recommendations to the Aspen City Council and the Pitkin County Board of County Commissioners on policies for the operation of the Aspen / Pitkin County Animal Shelter, including, but not limited to, the formulation and implementation of operating guidelines for the shelter, policies and procedures, annual operating budget, appropriate reviews, capital improvements, and maintenance program for the shelter.
