Fingerprinting services at the Pitkin County Jail are temporarily unavailable at this time.
The public is suggested to contact IdentGO for an appointment at the Glenwood Police Department.

In accordance with Senate Bill HB 17-189, as of September 24, 2018, the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office can no longer process civil fingerprints for the public. In an effort to streamline fingerprinting, increase reliability and accuracy of fingerprints collected, and speed up returns of information statewide, the Colorado Bureau of Investigations has implemented the Colorado Applicant Background Services (CABS) system.

To Obtain Civil Fingerprints:

Begin by contacting your employer or licensing agency to confirm what fingerprinting service is needed, and
obtain a 6-digit service code.  You will need this code in order to schedule your appointment.

The fingerprint vendor assigned to the Pitkin County Jail is IdentoGO.

IdentGO’s phone number is 844-539-5539.
You can schedule online here.

The local IdentoGO fingerprint station is located at the Glenwood Springs Police Department.

We are unable to do fingerprinting for immigration purposes.
