2025 Pitkin County Cares Volunteer Service Awards & Greg Mace Award

Now in its 25th year, the 2025 Pitkin County Cares Awards and Greg Mace Award once again honored individuals and groups for their service, leadership, and civic involvement. Community members were recognized for dedicating their time and energy to helping others in Pitkin County. While nominees did not need to be county residents, their volunteer efforts all took place within Pitkin County.

The Pitkin County Board of County Commissioners hosted a special ceremony and lunch reception at the Pitkin County Library – Dunaway Community Room on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

The event was broadcast live at www.pitkincounty.com/watchmeetings and on GrassRoots/CGTV Channel 11, allowing the community to join in celebrating this year’s honorees.
